Road closures, school fair and sunburn

Missed blog post last night so another £1 for UNICEF.

Today spent most of my day volunteering in a variety of roles to help my daughter’s school fair run without issues. This included receiving angry comments from members of the public about road closures, using my car as a road block which then truly became a road block when it’s battery ran flat, nearly getting run over, helping a bus get through a narrow road by folding in people’s wing mirrors, helping people to park, picking up litter, sellotaping tickets to bottles and collecting stones from the roadside to pin down various flyaway objects on stalls. Then getting very bizarre sunburn on the backs of my knees.

All in a good days work fundraising for the school!

Now I just want to sleep…

This blog is for UNICEF.

Thanks for reading.
